The Teddy Trek Fun Run is Roosevelt PTG’s ONLY major fundraiser to support technology, community building events, after school programs, and additional teacher requests for resources in their classrooms. This year we are also raising money for a PLAYGROUND EXPANSION project. Teddy Trek relies on parents, grandparents and neighborhood support to help volunteer and put on the event. It can’t happen without you!
Current Teddy Trek volunteer needs:
Teddy Trek Packet Pick-Up: Each week in the lead up to the fun run, volunteers are needed to help pick up and tally total donations from each classroom. This process should last from 8:30 – 10:00. Eight volunteers each Friday are needed.
Race Day Volunteers: Volunteers are needed to help with track set up, to count laps during the race, tally classroom laps, cheer on students, pass out water and popsicles, and to serve as classroom leaders. 20-30 volunteers are needed.
